Our online training modules are designed for students in 6th-12th grade as well as adults. These training courses are easy to use, self-paced, and provide an in-depth look at school safety topics through engaging videos, content, activities, and downloadable resources. Each training provides a certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course and its quiz.

Texas E-Cigarette and Tobacco Awareness Program

This online training is the state's official education course for vaping and tobacco awareness, as pursuant to Section 161.253 of the Texas Health and Safety Code. The training is designed for students in grades 6-12 and features a Prevention Course and a Referral Course.

The Prevention Course is designed for students who are interested in learning about the harmful health effects of vapes and other tobacco products, how the tobacco industry markets their products to young people, and how young people can build a vape-free, tobacco-free culture at their school.

The Referral Course is designed for students under age 21 who are cited for possession of tobacco products including vapes. This course is intended for students who are referred through their school or the courts and will provide these individuals with the information and skills necessary to quit and avoid tobacco products in the future.
